Used in a wide range of industries across food and drink, healthcare, cosmetics and other consumer goods as well as a range of industrial sectors, packaging has become an essential everyday item, with its usage growing broadly in line with the global economy. Packaging Markets and Applications is a course that provides a comprehensive overview of the packaging industry, market study for the various sectors, and opportunities for the future. We will review packaging products serving the food, medical/pharmaceutical, beverage, household, and personal care sectors, and the packaging requirements for the present and future. After completing Packaging Markets & Applications, students will be equipped with a basic understanding of the following: This course is an intended for people working in packaging production, materials supply, and other industries which supply to or purchase from packaging manufacturers.
