Nanotechnology 101 Online Course & Certificate

Nanotechnology 101 is a course that covers the overview of the history, manufacturing, and societal applications of nanomaterials. An emphasis will be placed on the ethics, societal impacts, and the future of nanotechnology.

After completing Nanotechnology 101, students will be equipped with a basic understanding of the following:

• Understand the aspects of nanotechnology through its applications
• Understand the development of nanotechnology
• Understand the equipment which is used to develop nanomaterials
• Understand the health, medicine, agriculture, and business implications of nanotechnology

A basic understanding of chemistry is required.

 Students will be assigned 5 homework assignments, and 1 final exam.
