Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Online Course & Certificate

Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is a course that provides an overview of the quality system of management controls for research laboratories and organizations. This is important to ensure the uniformity, consistency, reliability, reproducibility, quality, and integrity of chemical (including pharmaceuticals) non-clinical safety tests; from physio-chemical properties through acute to chronic toxicity tests. 

After completing Good Laboratory Practices students will be equipped with a basic understanding of the following:

• fundamental compliance requirements for current Good Laboratory Practices
• how to apply compliance protocols in all efforts aimed at generating regulated data for evaluation by the US FDA and regulatory agencies overseas
• the basis of the regulations and the necessity of rigorous implementation
• how to incorporate proactive thinking and a robust compliance regimen
• consequences of non-compliance

No prior experience or coursework required. 

 Students will be assigned 5 homework assignments, and 1 final exam.
