following the case methodology. This course is designed to teach
participants how to professionally prepare themselves for a

tactics and proven techniques. The course is relevant for students
and professionals remaining with their current employers or
preparing for career changes. The course focus is on behavioral and
attitude (soft-skills) changes more so than technical/hard-skills
development. Lectures, Discussions, and Demonstrations will allow
participants to integrate their career goals with their other
personal and professional activities. We will refer to different
career management perspectives and strategies to improve your career
education and define your Career Brand. Upon completion of this
course, you will have a defined Career Brand and be able to

Career Management Advanced courses are designed to teach
participants advanced strategies and techniques on how to
professionally prepare themselves for a successful job search in the
competitive job market using various advanced tactics and proven
techniques valued by leading companies. The course is relevant for
students and professionals remaining with their current employers or
preparing for career changes. The course focus is on behavioral and
attitude (soft-skills) changes more so than technical/hard-skills
development. Lectures, Discussions, and Demonstrations will allow
participants to integrate their career goals with their other
personal and professional activities. We will refer to different
career management perspectives and strategies to improve your career
education and define your Career Brand. You will have the tools
needed to conduct a self-created job search to bypass the formal
recruitment process and learn how to analyze workplace, negotiate
compensation, and pitch projects directly to Decision Makers. You
will also have the tools to differentiate yourself when you apply
for jobs in the formal recruitment processes. Upon completion of
this course, you will have a defined Career Brand and be able to
differentiate yourself from the mass of carbon copy job seekers in
the market place.

COURSE AIMS
Career Management Global course are designed to teach participants
how to professionally prepare themselves for a successful global job
search in the competitive job market using various inter-cultural
tactics and proven techniques valued by leading companies all over
the world. The course is relevant for students and professionals
remaining with their current employers or preparing for career
changes. The course focus is on behavioral and attitude
(soft-skills) changes more so than technical/hard-skills
development. Lectures, Discussions, and Demonstrations will allow
participants to integrate their career goals with their other
personal and professional activities. We will refer to different
career management perspectives and strategies to improve your career
education and define your Career Brand in a global context. You will
have the tools needed to conduct a self-created job search in
countries where you do not have work authorization and/or fluency in
the local language. The focus will be on using global job search
strategies to speak directly to Decision Makers. You will also have
the tools to differentiate yourself when you apply for jobs in the
formal recruitment processes. Upon completion of this course, you
will have a defined Global Career Brand and be able to differentiate
yourself from the mass of carbon copy job seekers in the market
place.

Instructor: Roderick Lewis
Short Biography: Roderick Lewis is a current Author, Researcher,
Consultant, Podcast Radio Show Host, and Thought Leader in the field
of Analytical Workplace Metrics which focuses on objective data to
maximize the Employee/Employer relationship. He is a former MBA
Talent Development Center Director who provided individual coaching,
educational workshops, career connections, and career research tools
needed to navigate the national and international job market. He has
provided career management, assessment services, and program
management to national and international students, professionals,
and organizations. In addition to career management services,
Roderick has consulted employers on talent acquisition strategies
and employer branding goals for university relations. He has been an
HR Consultant in Corporate America focusing on International
Recruiting and Diversity & Inclusion for Latin America, Spain, and
the USA. His experience also includes time as a Career Consultant in
US and European Business Schools focusing on Career Branding, Salary
Negotiations, Work Permits, and Social Media Networking.
Roderick holds an MBA from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He
has worked in various career management and corporate recruiter
roles with The Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta), ESADE
Business School (Barcelona), Kimberly-Clark Latin American
Operations (Latin America), and Delta Airlines (Atlanta). Roderick
has recruited at the top business schools in the USA, Latin America,
and Europe and has coached students and professionals on career
changes, international relocation, and performance management. He is
a current opinion writer for Universum Quarterly and TopMBA.com. He
conducts ongoing research and benchmarking of global job-search and
career management trends and is the host of the “Voice Of The Job
Seeker” podcast radio show.
